40W Asheville NEW VERSION
The Asheville is based on the SLO circuit and I have offered it for many years.
This is the NEW UPDATED version and 2 channels switchable via footswitch.
X is the standard SLO circuit with it’s ubiquitous cold clipper stage.
Y is a warmer stage, a hair less gain. I think many of you may prefer to use the Y channel over the standard SLO X channel.
They complement each other beautifully.

Dookie/Bradshaw modded Marshall. But BETTER.
- 2 Gain pots offers much more control over response and gain vs the single kind of wacky gain pot of the original.
- The original Dookie mod uses a .68uf presence cap, which results in Presence just being an eliminator of the negative feedback. The Rooster, with it’s Presence AND depth offers much more control, not only to the overall negative feedback, but to the TONAL response.

McClane UPDATED FOR Sept 2026
Meet the new McClane! I hate to use the phrase “state of the art” so often, but it is true. This is a little different than what is offered in the classic JCM and Blackface tone. So it’s not modded Marshall nor quite Fender. It is unique! DNA is Trainwreck, and I have built a ton of versions and I know what it can do. It is so good I am now offering it as a standard model. It KILLS. Switch takes it from wonderful bouncy cleans to a nice thick overdrive. 40W from a quad of EL84’s. Price will be US$1000 but you can get the next one for less. Contact me. SOLD! BUT I CAN DO ANOTHER.
If you like FENDER then this amp is for you. There is a 3 position selector switch to go from Bassman(JTM), Blackface (TWIN), and 5E3 (TWEED)! Has a loop! 20W from a pair of 6L6’s, should last FOREVER. This thing is a winner. SO many tones available. Really it is hard for me to say which channel I like the best. I have found that whichever channel I have engaged is the best one! GREAT pedal platform.
